Blessing Her Heart--Three Stops on the Southern Railroad Company appears at the San Francisco Fringe Festival (www.sffringe.org) beginning September 12, 2009 for four performances only. Tickets are only $10 for this 50-minute live theatrical event.
Premiering at the Fringe Marin, the one-act version of Blessing Her Heart written by Susan Jackson picked up a number of awards. A select panel of Bay Area Theatre Critics' Circle (BATCC) critics and journalists from other media outlets awarded the production several kudos: director Mike Ward took home the Critics' Circle Festival Best Director and
Diana Brown (Misery; George Coates Box Conspiracy) won both the Festival Panel Award and the Audience Favorite Award for her powerful portrayal.
Blessing Her Heart-Three Stops on the Southern Railroad Company appears at the San Francisco Fringe Festival at the Exit on Taylor, 277 Taylor Street near Eddy. Performances are Saturday, September 12 @ 8:30pm; Sunday, September 13 @ 7:00pm; Monday, September 14 @ 10pm; and Sunday, September 20 @ 2:30pm. All tickets are $10.
