Bay Area Musicals! presents its Second Annual Benefit Fundraiser A TWIST OF LIMELIGHT

Bay Area Musicals!, the newest non-profit theatrical organization to join the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area arts community, presents its second annual benefit fundraiser, A Twist of Limelight, on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the Alcazar Theatre (650 Geary St) in San Francisco. Tony Award-winning actress Alice Ripley (Next to Normal, American Psycho, Sideshow, Sunset Boulevard) will give a special performance. Proceeds from the benefit support upcoming productions by Bay Area Musicals!

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception. During this time, guests will have the opportunity to win raffle prizes, as well as participate in the silent auction. Immediately after, Matthew McCoy-Bay Area Musicals' Founder and Artistic Director-will announce their third season with the help of local performers. A live auction, featuring one-of-a-kind items, including remote vacation destinations, dinner/theater packages, and a luxury cruise, will follow. Act two of the evening will feature a one-of-a-kind concert by Alice Ripley who will perform songs from throughout her celebrated career.

"Bay Area Musicals! is still a young company and we are constantly looking to elevate ourselves to the next level," says McCoy. "Next season will feature some of our most adventurous productions to date. Proceeds from A Twist of Limelight will go directly to these productions to ensure we are providing audiences with high quality, professional theatre experiences."

Adds McCoy: "Having seen Alice Ripley on Broadway in her tour-de-force, Tony Award-winning performance as Diana in Next to Normal, I know guests are in for a real treat!"
