Learn to Ballroom like your favorite dancing stars with the exhilarating dance sensation Burn the Floor, recently held over due to popular demand through April 26 at San Francisco's Post Street Theatre.

In "Ballroom for Beginners" at Gold's Gym, champion Ballroom dancer and Burn the Floor cast member Robin Windsor will teach you how to Waltz, Jive and Cha-Cha like a champ while getting a great cardio workout. Gay or straight, single or coupled, Gold's members or non-members-everyone is welcome and no experience is necessary. Participants will learn a new dance with each class, so come for one class or attend the whole series!

Classes are 90 minutes and take place Mondays at 7:30 p.m. at Gold's SOMA (1001 Brannan St; 415-552-GOLD) and Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. at Gold's Castro (2301 Market St; 415-626-4488). Classes currently run through April 23 with additional dates pending.

Advance registration for the class is suggested but not necessary. Cost is $10 for members and $20 for non-members. For more information, contact the Gold's location of your choice.

Dancing since the age of three, Robin Windsor (pictured) is a former competitive Ballroom dancer who has won numerous British dance titles and represented his native UK in competitions around the world. He has been performing in Burn the Floor since 2002, touring throughout Australia, Asia, Canada and the U.S. and introducing many novices to Ballroom dancing along the way.

Now playing at the Post Street Theatre (450 Post St), Burn the Floor is Ballroom... with attitude. Years before shows like Dancing with the Stars became must-see TV, this sizzling dance spectacular was setting world stages ablaze with its red-hot, high-energy style of Ballroom.
