BECKY'S NEW CAR opens tonight, July 12th at The New Dragon Theatre, written by playwright Steven Dietz, author of 2011's comedy Private Eyes, and directed by James Nelson.

"When a woman says she needs new shoes, what she really wants is a new job. When she says she needs a new house, she wants a new husband. And when she says she wants a new car, she wants a new life." Becky Foster is suddenly offered a chance at an adventure, and gets entangled in a web of lies that result in a hilarious ride.

Starring: Sam Bertken, Helena Clarkson, Kevin Copps, Jim Johnson, Ben Ortega, Roneet Aliza Rahamim, and Mary Lou Torre.

Designed by Jason Arias (company manager), Lance Huntley (sound), Scarlett Kellum (costumes), Richard Robles (master carpenter), Will Poulin (lighting), Julia Sussner (set & props), Kimberly Wadycki (stage manager).

The production runs now through August 4th, 2013, playing Thursdays - Saturdays at 8pm (doors open at 7:30pm) Sundays at 2pm (doors open at 1:30pm). Pay-what-you-can preview on July 11th. Opening night gala after the July 12th show. Post-show discussion after the show Sunday, July 28th. All shows take place at The New Dragon Theatre in downtown Redwood City, 2120 Broadway Street at the intersection of Broadway and Theatre Way.
