BEACH BLANKET BABYLON Hosts 'Out At The Beach' At Club Fugazi 9/4
Producer Jo Schuman Silver and Beach Blanket Babylon, the world's longest running musical revue, are excited to present "OUT AT THE BEACH," a gathering of LGBT theatre lovers, on September 4th at 9:30 pm. at Club Fugazi (678 Beach Blanket Babylon Blvd.). A post-show gathering will take place at Lookout in the Castro (3600 16th St.). Beach Blanket Babylon, currently celebrating its 35th Anniversary, has a long and distinguished history of supporting the LGBT community. In 1994, the National AIDS Memorial Grove in Golden Gate Park received $100,000 from Steve Silver, the creator of Beach Blanket Babylon, in honor of the show's 20th Anniversary. Most recently, Beach Blanket Babylon partnered with AIDS Emergency Fund at the 2009 San Francisco Pride parade. "Beach Blanket Babylon has always been supportive of the LGBT community in the Bay Area," said Schuman Silver.
