BATS Improv Presents Friday Night Theatresports
Theatresports is BATS signature improv theatre competition - a fast-paced, exciting, highly interactive night of improvised theatre played as a sport, complete with Olympic-style judges. Audience members can expect lots of variety and lots of audience interaction in every Theatresports show... but most importantly, because everything is improvised, they can always expect the unexpected! Each night two teams of BATS Company members face off for audience approval and points awarded by BATS expert judges. They'll take turns using audience suggestions to play highly entertaining games, and create completely improvised scenes and songs.
Founded in 1986, BATS has become the premier improvisational performing company and improv training school in the Bay Area, attracting more than 12,000 audience members and 1,300 workshop enrollments every year. www.improv.org
Public Information: Tickets are $17 general admission, $20 at the door. Tickets are available through the BATS website www.improv.org or by phone (415) 474-6776.
