Aragon High School Presents ROMEO AND JULIET
Aragon High School Performing Arts in San Mateo is proud to present their spring performance of Romeo and Juliet opening on March 19th. Aragon Drama will bring Shakespeare's tragic exploration of first love to life, and captivate you, as it has audiences for over 400 years.
Set in Italy during the Elizabethan period, this classic tragedy tells the tale of two young lovers torn apart by their feuding families. Romeo, the son of Montague, and Juliet, the daughter of Capulet, use the power of their love to overcome these obstacles, and change the world they live in. Directed by Shane Smuin in Aragon's 2013 Gold Nugget Merit Award winning theater, this beloved story reminds us all of what it means to love.
Romeo and Juliet will play Thursday, 3/19 through Saturday, 3/21 at 7pm; Sunday 3/22 at 2pm. Tickets bought online are $15 for adults ($17 at the door), $10 for students and seniors. Tickets are available through www.aragondrama.com. Additionally, there will be a preview performance on Wednesday 3/18 at 7pm, general admission tickets will only be sold at the door for $8.
