American Conservatory Theater Presents SPOOKED AT THE STRAND
American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) and Co-Chairs Holly and Christopher Hollenbeck are proud to announce Spooked at The Strand, A.C.T.'s annual Halloween costume party, on Thursday, October 27 from 6 - 11 p.m. at The Strand Theater (1127 Market Street, San Francisco). The evening will feature special performances by A.C.T.'s Master of Fine Arts students, with proceeds from the evening going support A.C.T.'s actor training and Education & Community Programs. The bewitching soirée begins at 6 p.m. with a cocktail reception at A.C.T.'s Strand Theater. At 8 p.m. guests will make their way into the Toni Rembe Theater, where they will be treated to special cabaret performances by A.C.T.'s Master of Fine Arts students. At 9 p.m., guests will return to the lobby of The Strand Theater for an after-party featuring cocktails, a dessert bar and dancing. Guests are encouraged to come in costume.
"Here, in the heart of San Francisco, we have one of the best actor training programs in the country," say Event Chairs Holly and Christopher Hollenbeck. "And it's the only one affiliated with a major theater company, giving these students the unique opportunity to work alongside professional actors throughout their education. It's also the only M.F.A. Program that's not affiliated with a major four-year educational institution, which means these students need our help to live, learn, and thrive in our great city."
