A.C.T MFA Program Announces 'Little Shop of Horrors'

The A.C.T. Master of Fine Arts Program presents the hit musical Little Shop of Horrors in a one-night-only special concert presentation. Featuring book and lyrics by Howard Ashman and music by Alan Menken, Little Shop of Horrors is directed by George Thompson and music directed by Robert Rutt. Featuring the talents of the A.C.T. M.F.A. Program class of 2009, this unforgettable evening of musical mayhem and carnivorous fun features all of the outrageous songs and memorable characters of this international hit. Little Shop of Horrors performs in San Francisco for one night only on Friday, September 5, 2008, at 8 p.m. at Zeum Theater (Yerba Buena Gardens, Fourth and Howard Streets, San Francisco). Tickets are $10 and can be purchased by calling A.C.T. Ticket Services at 415.749.2228, or at www.act-sf.org.

After the San Francisco performance, Little Shop of Horrors will be presented again at Santa Rosa’s Wells Fargo Center for the Arts (50 Mark West Springs Road, Santa Rosa) on Saturday, September 6, 2008, at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets for the Santa Rosa performance are $15 and can be purchased by calling 707.546.3600, or at www.wellsfargocenterarts.org.
