Back by popular demand, Berkeley's acclaimed Aurora Theatre Company jazzes up the holidays with A Little Cole in Your Stocking. Bay Area husband and wife cabaret duo Meg Mackay and Billy Philadelphia offer a new version of their intimate, witty, and memorable musical showcase. Mixing Cole Porter classics and rarities with traditional and non-traditional holiday tunes, A Little Cole in Your Stocking is sure to be both a naughty and nice yuletide treat.

Christened "San Francisco's first couple of cabaret" by the San Francisco Chronicle, Meg Mackay and Billy Philadelphia offer a unique escape from traditional holiday theater fare with A Little Cole in Your Stocking. Featuring such Cole Porter classics as "I've Got You Under My Skin," "Night and Day," and "Let's Do It, Let's Fall in Love," rarities from the Porter song book, and holiday melodies old and new, A Little Cole in Your Stocking is sure to spice up the holidays.

Meg Mackay, who starred for three seasons in A Karen Carpenter Christmas, which was written and directed by Aurora Theatre Company Artistic Director Tom Ross, has been a frequent guest soloist with the Marin Symphony and is a veteran of the long-running San Francisco musical theatre favorite Beach Blanket Babylon. She divides her time among musical theatre, drama, and cabaret. Recent starring roles include Gypsy (TheatreWorks), Hooray for What, Dear World, (42nd Street Moon) and Enter the Guardsman (San Jose Repertory Theatre).

Billy Philadelphia has been playing and performing in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 25 years. A versatile pianist and energetic entertainer, he accompanied the incomparable Dame Edna in her hit show The Royal Tour at Theatre on the Square. Philadelphia's production of Hoagy, a tribute to the legendary songwriter/actor Hoagy Carmichael, had a successful San Francisco run, and was recently re-mounted at the historic Coconut Grove Playhouse in Miami where it received rave reviews. Philadelphia has been musical director for several Bay Area television shows, "AM San Francisco," "SFO," and "Good Time Café," and had a long-running spot as "The Man About Town" for KNBR radio.

A Little Cole in Your Stocking plays for eight performances only December 20-23 and 27-30 all shows at 8PM.  The Aurora Theatre Company is located at 2081 Addison Street Berkeley, CA 94704.  Tickets ($25) may be purchased directly from the Aurora Theatre Company box office by calling 510-843-4822, or online at www.auroratheatre.org.
