A riotous comedy that brilliantly tells the untold stories of four real women who were at the forefront of the French Revolution. Playwright Olympe de Gouges, assassin Charlotte Corday, former queen Marie Antoinette, and Haitian rebel Marianne Angelle find friendship, fight for their rights, become "sisters in arms" and lose their heads in the Reign of Terror. This grand and dream-tweaked comedy is about legacy, feminism, art and how we actually go about changing the world.
Directed by Katrina Peterson, and featuring Gabriela Jentzsch, Nicki Barnes, Jenna Pekny and Adina Silva.
Lamplighters Theatre is at 5915 Severin Drive, La Mesa CA, 91942, La Mesa, CA.
