Helping Hand, written by John Busser and directed by Sean Libiran, is a staged reading presented as part of Trinity Theatre Company's Fourth Annual New Works Festival. Set in a classified government facility, the play follows officials as they examine a mysterious extraterrestrial being discovered decades earlier, raising questions that science cannot answer. As the truth about the Visitor slowly unfolds, the work probes humanity's fears, ambitions, and moral limits. Helping Hand is part of a festival featuring nine emerging playwrights, selected from over 1,000 submissions, with performances running April 30 through May 3 at Mission Valley Mall.
