Triad Productions continues to build momentum by doing whatever it takes to live up to their ambitious mission statement of reaching a new generation of theatre-goer. Targeting an unfamiliar demographic, while persevering through difficult economic times has galvanized the drive of this up and coming non-profit. Hailed by critics as the nomadic theatre company to watch, Triad is coming off a successful run of The Maiden's Prayer at the Diversionary Theatre only to begin production on a new play across town. If you've seen their work, you know these young artists produce high quality shows at prices most theatres haven't seen since the 70's. If you haven't met your quarterly culture quota, head down to the 10th Ave Theatre this May to enjoy their upcoming show.

Triad Productions is pleased to announce Sam Shepard's Curse of the Starving Class as their second production of 2011 and their next step in reaching a new generation of theatre-goer. Triad's Artistic Director, Adam Parker, returns to direct this classic cautionary tale of a family's struggle with inner demons and conflicting views of the American Dream. Devilishly funny and studded with harsh realities, Curse of the Starving Class is an all too real fable about the American class system.

Preview performances will be held Monday, May 2nd through Thursday, May 5th at 7:30pm. Triad invites all theatre writers and members of the press to attend the show during previews. $10 preview tickets will be available to the general public at the door.

Curse of the Starving Class opens Friday May 6th, 2011 and runs through Saturday May 28th, 2011. Performances are Thursday through Saturday at 8pm and Sundays at 5pm at the 10th Avenue Theatre; located at 930 10th Ave, San Diego, CA 92101. Tickets are $25 General and $15 for Students, Seniors and Military. For ticket information and reservations, please visit www.seemoreplays.com.
