BIRDS OF PARADISE opens this Friday, 2/12 and runs through 2/21 in the SDSU Experimental Theatre.  The show features the 2010 MFA Musical Theatre candidates in their last hurrah on the SDSU stage!

BIRDS OF PARADISE is a heartwarming, hilarious, brilliant book with lyrics from the pen of WICKED wordsmith Winnie Holzman, about an amateur theatre group who is rehearsing a musical based on Chekhov's the SEAGULL. Their own stories parallel the plot with hilarious results.

BIRDS OF PARADISE will open in the Experimental Theatre on Friday February 12 at 8 p.m. and will close February 21 at 2 p.m. Evening performances are on February 12, 13, 17, 18, 19 and 20 at 8 p.m. with matinee performances on February 14 and 21 at 2 p.m.

Ticket prices are $13 to $15 with discounts for groups of 10 or more attending the same performance. Service charges will apply. For group discounts call (619) 594-6365 or email OnStageSDSU@sdsu.edu.

Tickets and information are online; by visiting the Performing Arts Box Office Monday through Thursday between 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. or calling the Box Office direct at (619) 594-6884.
