The Poway Center for the Performing Arts Foundation (PCPAF) will host the annual Taste of Our Towne fundraiser on the Plaza at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts today, June 20 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. This summer celebration will kick off the PCPAF's 25th Anniversary and will mark the start to some big changes for the Foundation in the coming year.

Complete with delicious food, sumptuous wines, a live and silent auction, dancing, prizes, games, entertainment and more, the Taste of Our Towne will be an evening of delight. The ever popular NBC 7 Traffic and Weather reporter, Whitney Southwick returns as Taste of Our Towne's Master of Ceremonies. Entertainment for the evening will feature Steve Gouveia, an original Broadway cast member of Jersey Boys and a Poway High School graduate as well as the Back to the Garden Band who was last seen on Poway's stage in Woodstock: The Concert and The Last Waltz.

The evening begins with a champagne toast in the Lobby of the Poway Center for the Performing Arts, where the PCPAF will reveal exciting changes with the unveiling of a new look for the coming year. Guests will enjoy live lobby entertainment while bidding on silent auction items. The party then moves to the plaza for delicious food and drink, a live auction and live entertainment. The live auction will feature many one-of-a-kind items for guests to bid upon, led by Jim Cunningham. At the end of the evening there will be a Safe Ride Home sponsored by GEICO to any attendees who choose to use the door to door transportation service.
