Lamb's Players Theatre previously announced that MIXTAPE - the Greatest Hits of the 80s, now playing at the Horton Grand Theatre in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter, would extend again, going on to enter its 4th year in 2013.

The show was scheduled to close December 15th. "But when people heard it was ending," said Lamb's Producing Artistic Director, Robert Smyth, "we received a rush of interest. "Wait, I haven't seen it yet" or "I really want to see it one more time." Ok. We'll keep it going a bit longer."

MIXTAPE reopens tonight, January 10th, and runs thru February 17th.

Created by Lamb's Company members, Jon Lorenz, Colleen Kollar Smith and Kerry Meads, MIXTAPE has become San Diego's favorite show, running longer than any other production that started here.

The production, which has employed over 30 local performers and band members, continues to play to enthusiastic houses of all ages.

MIXTAPE by Jon Lorenz and Colleen Kollar Smith, with Kerry Meads, is directed by Kerry Meads with musical direction by Jon Lorenz and choreography by Colleen Kollar Smith.

MIXTAPE performs Wed & Thur at 7:30 / Fri at 8 / Sat at 8 / Sun at 4 at the Horton Grand Theatre - 444 Fourth Ave (between Island and J St), San Diego. Tickets are available through the Lamb's Central Box Office - 619.437.6000 (Tue - Sat, 1-7) or online - lambsplayers.org.
