Puccini's LA BOHÈME will close on Sunday, February 7th at the San Diego Civic Theatre.
One of the most popular operas ever written, La bohème tells the story of two young, poor "bohemians", a poet and a seamstress who discover a love so intense that they find it unbearable to be apart, yet impossible to be together. Set in the vivid, boisterous world of Paris' 19th century Latin Quarter, this simple yet passionate story follows their love.
Two of opera's new talents team up for an elegant pairing- Anja Harteros, who performed in her first La traviata in San Diego, and Piotr Beczala, a sought after young tenor. Joining them as is San Diego's own Priti Gandhi.
