Mean Girls: The Musical at Charline McCombs Empire Theatre

The Majestic Empire Foundation presents a full-scale production of Tina Fey's Mean Girls: The Musical featuring a cast of local performers and a live orchestra in collaboration with the Youth Orchestras of San Antonio. The production runs for one weekend only at the historic Charline McCombs Empire Theatre in San Antonio, Texas. Alongside the main stage production, dozens of high school and college-aged apprentices from institutions including the University of Michigan, Boise State University, University of Houston, and Texas State University are working alongside seasoned professionals in areas such as stage management, lighting, sound, costumes, and technical theatre. The apprenticeship program is the first of its kind in San Antonio and is designed to create career pathways in the performing arts.
