Overtime Theater presents, DOA: A Noir Musical from September 30 - October 29, 2011. DOA: A Noir Musical is written and adapted by Jon Gillespie with music composed by Jaime Ramirez.
D.O.A. is a classic, 1950 film noir about a man, Frank Bigelow, who is poisoned and has 48 hours to live. Bigelow travels cross-country to find his killer, confronting many different suspects (some beautiful, some brutish).
This new stage adaptation of the public domain movie will take the original noir and turn it inside out, featuring new jazz and blues songs by composer Jaime Ramirez. It'll be a fast-paced musical comedy that nonetheless still thrills.
