High School in the Spotlight: Klein Oak, TX
BroadwayWorld's High School Center is proud to showcase high school performance programs around the country in our weekly feature of 'High School in the Spotlight'. Today, we visit the Theatre Department at Klein Oak High School in Spring, Texas!
The Theatre Department's recent production of SWEENEY TODD: THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET earned an impressive 14 nominations (out of a possible 15 in major categories) in the 2013 Tommy Tune Awards and the cast and crew will participate in the awards ceremony on April 16. The show was directed by Matthew Robinson with music direction by Michael Goede, technical direction by Christopher Pruett, and orchestra direction by Todd Clearwater. SWEENEY TODD starred Ryne Nardecchia, Alex Shrode, Danielle Gonzalez, Morgan Starr, Alec Ryan, Michael DeBose, Sarah Holevinski, Benton Burnett, and David Hodgins.
