HELLO, DOLLY! Comes to Reagan High School
![]()
The Reagan Fine Arts Department presents its 2019 musical HELLO, DOLLY! February 6th-9th at 7pm.
Featuring all of Reagan High School's nationally recognized performance programs (band, orchestra, choir, and theatre) the annual musical is an endeavor that calls upon each departments' most talented students. This year the cast is led by Bella Campos, in the title role, who performed this summer in New York City on Broadway, as part of The Jimmy Awards, after being named "Best Actress in a Musical" (for her role of Ado Annie in last year's production of Oklahoma) by the Las Casas Foundation at their annual Joci Awards. The Joci Awards recognizes the top high school fine arts students in the San Antonio Area.
Hello, Dolly! follows Dolly Levi who is a widow, a matchmaker, and also a professional meddler. Everything changes when she decides that the next match she needs to make is to find someone for herself. Set in New York City at the turn of the century, Hello, Dolly! is boisterous and charming from start to finish. Hello, Dolly! features such memorable songs as "Before the Parade Passes By," "It Only Takes a Moment," "Put on Your Sunday Clothes," and - of course - the title number, "Hello, Dolly!"
