Sarah Ruhl's STAGE KISS to Play Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center
"One thing that's been apparent throughout all of Sarah Ruhl's plays," says director, Mark Fossen, "is her deep love, trust and admiration when it comes to her theatrical collaborators...She challenges them with staging the unstageable and does so knowing that they can work a magic far beyond what she can practically imagine." Fossen also says, "Stage Kiss is her love letter to the theatre, her paean to all theatre artists-especially actors. The metafictional layers of the show never get in the way of the heartfelt respect she shows, and she shows it by stripping away the magic of theatre ... only to find more magic."
Stage Kiss opens with a pre-show event and post show Fundraising Gala on Saturday, April 30 2016 and runs Thursdays through Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. at the Rose Wagner Studio Theatre (138 West 300 South) until Saturday, May 14, 2016. Saturday matinees are May 7 and 14 at 2:00 p.m. with a special Mother's Day matinee on Sunday, May 8 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets for all performances unless otherwise noted are $20.00 and are available at the Rose Wagner box office located at 138 W. 300 S.
