Sackerson Brings BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN to Life in Salt Lake City Warehouse Tonight

Sackerson continues its theatrical experiments bringing BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN to life using the original 1935 film soundtrack synched to live performers in a Salt Lake City industrial warehouse.

It's a recreation of the 1935 film The Bride of Frankenstein starring Boris Karloff, but staged with live actors and dancers lip syncing to the original voices and musical score.

The show is directed by Christopher Clark, chairman of the UVU theater department and executive producer of Sundance Summer Theatre, alongside choreographer Jenny Barlow, a former Ballet West and Radio City Rockette dancer.

Bob Nelson, former chair of both BYU and University of Utah theatre departments joins the cast as Dr. Pretorius, the mentor to Dr. Frankenstein played by Alex Ungerman.

This production is unlike anything Utah audiences have seen before.
