Racial profiling - redefined.
In Colonial America, the third crossing of black and white bloodlines was believed yield white children. The relationship between Thomas Jefferson and his slave Sally Hemings - whose children were the third crossing but remained slaves - is the springboard for examining interracial relationships in America.
THE THIRD CROSSING is the latest work from the author of 2008's sold-out run of THE END OF THE HORIZON and co-author of 2010's sold-out run of WALLACE. THE THIRD CROSSING is the winner of the 2010 Fratti-Newman New Politcal Play Contest.
