Five 10-minute plays are created and rehearsed in twenty-three hours. You spend the 24th hour with us to see the results! Professional writers, directors and designers will join our cast of student actors for our 5th annual Student Slam.
Twenty five actors between the ages of 12 and 19 representing a dozen different schools throughout Utah will be participating. Auditions for “Student Slam” were the largest in five years with over 150 young actors auditioning for roles.
Student Slam is a fundraising event for Theatre Arts Conservatory, an educational program of Plan-B Theatre Company. Proceeds will benefit the Theatre Arts Conservatory scholarship fund.
“Student Slam” runs Saturday, January 7th in the Jeanne Wagner Theatre of the Rose Wagner, 138 W. 300 S., Salt Lake City.
