New Performing Art Center And Grand Opening Gala Announced at at Layton's Only Live Theatre
Layton's ONLY Live Theatre finds a new home!
A new 13,000 Square foot Performing Arts Center, with a Grand Opening Celebration December 14th - 16th. On Pitch Performing Arts Center located at 587 N Main Street In Layton Utah opens its doors with a HUGE family friendly CELEBRATION and SHOW "The Holiday Follies".
The Grand Opening Gala and Holiday Follies will be on December 14th at 7pm and will include; dinner, show, huge costumes, production numbers, community guest artists, silent auctions, raffles, tours and more! Tickets for the Gala are on sale now at www.onpitchperformingarts.com
December 15th and 16th will be a FREE showing of "The Holiday Follies" that will include the amazing show with huge costumes and production numbers, we will also have our raffle and silent auction items available. Free tours of the new facility will be going on all night!
On Pitch Performing Arts exists to educate, entertain, and inspire children, adults and audiences with theatrical productions that range from musicals, plays, and new works; we train and support the next generation of theatre artists; we provide arts education programs that promote life-long learning; and we celebrate the power of theatre to bring together our community. Our 2018 season is full of wonderful shows for all ages. Our Mainstage Season Includes; "The Last Five years" "Steel Magnolias" "Tarzan" "Forever Plaid" and "The Holiday Follies" our children's theatre selections include; "Alice in Wonderland JR" "Annie JR". Our season also includes, 5 Summer Camp Sessions with a show at the end of each session, and 2 Show Choir Spectaculars (at the end of each school semester).
The new performing arts center includes a theatre, black box, rehearsal rooms, technical theatre storage, dance studio, meeting rooms, and in partnership with Wunderkind Events a Princess Tea Party and Birthday Party room. By opening the new center OPPA! is hoping to create a central hub for the arts in Layton Utah, a place where the community can come enjoy shows, get involved, and even use the space for their events and performances.
