Hale Centre Theatre has been operating in Utah since 1985 with tremendous support from local audiences.  The Theatre was located on South Main Street from 1985 until 1997 when it became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community theatre and moved to its current location in West Valley City.

The Theatre sees over 230,000 patrons through its doors each year and has a dedicated season ticket base of more than 19,500.  Each season it produces seven productions including dramas, comedies, and musicals.  The productions are cast entirely from within the community using local artists who share their talents as a pastime rather than a profession.  The Theatre's productions and programs are supported by many generous individuals, corporations, and foundations throughout the community.
