Beauty is in the eye of the ogre in Shrek The Musical JR., based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and fantastic Broadway musical. It's a "big bright beautiful world" as everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek JR. is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family CYT GIVES BACK CYT is collaborating with the nonprofit organization The Glass Slipper during this show performance. The Glass Slipper’s mission is to empower and equip at-risk girls for life. The Glass Slipper believes that every girl has the potential and every girl has dreams for her life. The majority of the girls who come to the Glass Slipper have a background of abuse and have endured significant trauma, sometimes impairing their ability to have hope and dreams for their lives. The Glass Slippers goal is to restore hope that their dreams are possible and help them acquire the necessary skills and tools to achieve them. CYT will be collecting Target and Walmart Gift Cards for the girls to buy birthday gifts and necessities the girls need. Please bring your gift cards in any amount to the lobby PR table.
