Father of the Bride Continues At Imagination Theater

Father of the Bride continues to delight audiences at Imagination Theater on the El Dorado County Fairgrounds.

The show concludes with the final matinee on Saturday, September 24 at 2:00 p.m. This story set in the 1950's is about a doting father who faces mountains of bills and endless trials when his daughter marries. The play, based on the novel by Edward Streeter, was also the basis for the 1950 film with Spencer Tracy and Elizabeth Taylor.

Father of the Bride runs through Saturday, September 24 with shows on Thursdays and Fridays at 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. In addition, a Saturday night show will be held September 17 at 7:00 p.m.

All tickets are $15. Some seating is on the stage as well as Row A through D. Tickets can be purchased online (PayPal) at www.it-tickets.org.

Tickets are also available by phone at (530) 642-0404. The box office is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and an hour prior to scheduled shows. Imagination Theater recently celebrated its' 10th Anniversary bringing quality, live community theater to Placerville and El Dorado County.
