"I felt it important, as we grow, to involve the community," says Monser. "When a community, such as Placerville is being so supportive, it's always good to show appreciation back and that's exactly what we plan to do. My goal is to bring the locals out and create a backyard atmosphere type of party, yet with headlining talent and little fluff. We're simply out to create good times, with great vendors, music, food, brews and lots of smiles. It's in the same fashion I launched Cali Roots and that good intention is what brings the family vibe for all to enjoy."

Monser, is also the founder of the Monterey based California Roots Music and Arts Festival which has featured major talent as Nas, Damian, Stephen Marley, Michael Franti, The Roots, SOJA, Slightly Stoopid, Atmosphere and many more. Past Dry Diggings events have hosted top names in reggae- rock and hip-hop, including Rebelution, Dirty Heads, Tribal Seeds, The Expendables, Fortunate Youth, Zion I, J Boog, Stick Figure and countless others.

Ticket prices range from $65 for GA day passes, to $115 for weekend GA passes, with upgraded VIP, camping, glamping, pre-party and parking options available via the website. Ticket price for locals will be discounted at gate and range from $55 for single-day GA passes, to $98 for weekend GA passes. It is recommended that locals who intend to join in the festivities purchase advance camping, parking, or VIP passes. GA for local walk-ups will be discounted with I.D. of above named cities and zip codes.
