BStreet Theatre presents THE FLYING MACHINE, today, October 4-November 9, 2014. To invent an airplane is nothing. To build one is something. But to fly is everything! On December 17, 1903 at 10:35am, the world changed. Wilbur and Orville Wright, two great American inventors are brought to life in the World Premiere of The Flying Machine.

SHOW TIMES: 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

The invention of the airplane is one of the greatest achievements in the history of civilization. Come meet the Wright Brothers as they begin the journey that led to their invention of the Aeroplane. Witness how they discovered the mysteries and secrets that unlocked the miracle of flight.

Written by Family Series playwright Jerry R. Montoya, The Flying Machine marks Mr. Montoya's tenth play for B Street's Family Series. Other Montoya plays include: The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, Rumpelstiltskin, Treasure Island, The Conductor: Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad, Hansel and Gretel, and The Gift of the Magi.

Director: Jerry R. Montoya - Jerry has been a director, writer, actor, stage designer, stage manager and educator in professional theatre for 20 years. For B Street, he directed Well, Sylvia, What the Butcher Saw, A Skull in Connemara, The Cocktail Hour, The Seafarer and A Christmas Carol. Recently, he directed the K of D for the Mainstage Series. His adaptations and original works for the Family Series include The Conductor; Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad, Rumpelstiltskin, Treasure Island and Young Abe Lincoln.
