Opera "Snow Maiden" and its poetry of pagan worship, the epic power of fusion of man and nature, divinely intoxicating hymn to the beauty and love of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov considered his best work. "Snow Maiden" strikes a surprisingly empathetic, loving reproduction paintings of folk life and rituals of ancient paganism, miraculously folk tales.
