On the stage of the Ekaterinburg Opera Theater "Prince Igor" first appeared in 1912. Staging, which opened the 100-th theatrical season, became the eleventh in succession. Chief choirmaster Theatre honored worker of Arts of Russia and Bashkortostan, people's artist of Bashkortostan Elvira Gaifullina acted as chorus master-art direction. Ballet Master Alexander Tikhomirov created her own choreographic version of the famous polovtsian dances.
