"Love and death", or how it began ...

Every nation has the one book, the beginning, which defined the richness of native Words, the literary world. For Azerbaijani Oguz, however, as the remaining two hundred million "conflict" of people living now on Earth, so cherished the message of their ancestors is an ancient epic "Kitabi-Dede gorgud", which literally means "the book of my father-Gorgud".

That is why the birth of a new ballet based on EPOS "Dede gorgud" is not just another, albeit very vivid event in the cultural and musical life of Azerbaijan. It was a significant phenomenon experienced spiritual renewal, a new conceptualization of involvement of each of us to the fate of their country. It is not a coincidence that the creator of Ballet became Polad oglu Bulbul, who for many years successfully headed the Ministry of culture of Azerbaijan. After all, in Karabakh, from which his ancestors have always known the price of devotion to the motherland, the courage and bravery. Creating a ballet composer, whose sonorous, melodic songs, having passed the test of decades, were long ago on hearing of all, became the favorite hits several generations, has managed to push the horizons of his art. He "took place again, but even louder, stronger, and more impressively. Now he stood with those who always called masters of art, their teachers.
