April 26, 2014 on the stage of the Ekaterinburg Opera presented a new formulation of one of the most popular and beloved viewers worldwide Tchaikovsky's opera "Eugene Onegin".

Erasing time and ideological boundaries, directors tolerate action of the opera in the middle of the last century; and, following the Tchaikovsky, look sincerity of musical expression, give performers the opportunity to live the story of Onegin and Tatiana outside the historical context and the audience - to become a participant and witness the action unfolding here and now.
