Concluding the anniversary year of the twentieth century's greatest composer Sergei Prokofiev, Yekaterinburg Opera and Ballet Theatre took up the production of "Cinderella." Claiming to originality, choreographer Nadezhda Malygina reviewed a huge number of dance versions of "Cinderella" - typically from classical to avant-garde frankly. After that decided to come up with a performance about today.

"Whether we like it or not - there is a fairy tale in the real world. The plot is prescribed once by Charles Perrault, she continues to live an independent life, being subject to various interpretations and rethinking. And no matter how we pushed forward technological progress, the sphere of human relationships - love, happiness, suffering, fear, envy, loneliness - care the most. So we tried to look at the "Cinderella" as the actual plot.

The King grows heir - a kind, well-mannered boy who has lots of friends, but no girlfriend.
