A tight knit group of artists explore the possibilities and consequences of freedom through Neil Labute's play, The Way We Get By. The themes of this prepandemic story are strikingly relevant to this point in history as society slowly reopens. Who are we as individuals and how have we changed during isolation? Who are we with the ones we love in private and how does that change when we reenter the world? Doug and Beth must make a choice between living a life that is familiar yet governed by the expectations of others and a life that is guaranteed to be full of difficulty but offers the room for self discovery. Join us as we present Neil Labutes, "The Way We Get By" hosted at SOOP Theatre Company in Pelham. We will be live streaming via ZOOM, as well as welcoming you to sit in the audience as we broadcast as we help bring live theatre back to the world.
