Actors Conservatory Theatre will present the comedy Moon Over Buffalo on May 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 18

Moon Over Buffalo wraps up ACT’s 50 th anniversary season! Moon Over Buffalo, written by Ken Ludwig, depicts two fading actors on tour with a repertory acting troupein the 1950s. The group is on the verge of splitting up over the lead’s affair with the young ingénue – but then their big break appears on the horizon: Frank Capra (famous director of “It’s A Wonderful Life”) is coming to see one of their matinee performances and, if all goes well, he may cast them in his up-coming film! Unfortunately, one thing after another goes hilariously wrong, including when the actors become confused over which play they are actually performing.

Moon Over Buffalo is presented under the direction of Steven Riedel and ACT’s production team. Featuring: Tom Beck, Santiago Caceres, Ruth Chiamulera, Dennis DeLeo, Liz DiMeo, Patrick Early, Penelope Golden, Robert McEvily, Tony Paige, Jacob Ruiz, Brandon Salerno, Brandon Sealey, Mike Sedia, Tom Weppler, Carlie Zucker.

About Actors Conservatory Theatre
Actors Conservatory Theatre (ACT) is a non-profit Westchester-based theatre company, voted Best of Westchester in 2018, 2019 and 2020. Founded in 1975, ACT is one of the oldest community theatre organizations in Westchester. ACT has presented over 139 mainstage productions, including classic and lesser-known musicals, comedies, and dramas. In addition to our adult productions, ACT’s Junior Troupe annually produces a musical performed by students in grades 5 through 12 under the instruction of our professional creative team, including director, choreographer, musicians, designers and technicians. We welcome all children at no tuition cost to them or their families. ACT has also conducted numerous acting workshops for children, beginner actors and experienced performers. Many, in part thanks to ACT, have gone on to successful careers in TV, film and theater.
