Ester Wiesnerova is a Slovak vocalist and composer whose music bridges contemporary jazz with poetic storytelling. Her album Blue Journal presents original compositions in Slovak and English, performed by an unconventional trio featuring harp and percussion. Shaped by her studies at the New England Conservatory and Berklee College of Music, her work has earned her recognition as an “exciting new voice in European jazz” by Jazzwise, as well as a place on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 and consideration for Grammy Awards in two categories. Her music unfolds with quiet intensity and emotional depth, leaving a lasting impression on attentive listeners.
