Daisy is an internationally renowned violinist, born in London, UK, and now living in Westchester County. She started learning the violin at age 3, attending her aunt's music camps in England at age 5, and subsequently teaching at the camps from age 14 years old. Since then she has taught privately and at summer camps for many years, including at the O'Connor Method Camp in NYC for the last 2 summers.

Daisy studied violin at the classical Royal College of Music in London, but has spent most of her professional life delving into other styles of music, and writing her own music. She is excited by Mark O'Connor's Violin Method because he instills creativity right from the beginning, as well as a well-rounded violin technique.

Daisy has performed with her own band in many countries of the world, and has also established a music mentorship charity which has produced concerts for the last 7 years. Their latest concert was at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center, in August 2017. The concert featured 40 students performing alongside top professional musicians in an orchestra, choir and as soloists.

Ultimately, Daisy believes "every aspect of violin playing is fun-from enjoying wonderful music, learning to express oneself, taking on the challenge of performing, and learning to be individual and creative." www.daisyjoplingband.com Daisy is so excited to join Standing Ovation Studios family as a violin instructor. She is dedicated to bringing your child to the next level of excellence.
