Little Radical Theatrics Heads to the Highlands with BRIGADOON

Little Radical Theatrics is delighted to bring to Westchester a fresh interpretation of this Golden Age classic to close its tenth anniversary season.
Brigadoon follows two New Yorkers - Tommy Albright and Jeff Douglas- who while on a hunting trip to Scotland, get lost and stumble upon a village not found on any map. Brigadoon is an enchanted place. It appears only for one day every one-hundred years and then disappears back into the mists of time, to wake up in its next day a century hence. The two get acclimated to the peculiar locale and acquainted with its townspeople. Among them are Fiona MacLaren, the woman who quickly steals Tommy's heart, Meg Brockie, Fiona's flirty best friend, and the rebellious Harry Beaton who is in love with Fiona's younger sister, Jean. However, Jean is getting married to Charlie Dalrymple, which sends Harry into a rage - bringing about a chain of events that could spell doom for the entire halcyon hamlet.
The beauty of Scotland serves as the backdrop for this timeless tale featuring such American standards as "Almost Like Being In Love", "The Heather on the Hill" and "Waiting for My Dearie" with roles for talented actors, singers and dancers of all ages. Both part mystery and romance, Brigadoon is a grown-up fairytale of faith, fate, and the unparalleled power of love.
