Comedian Judy Gold to Join Illusionist Elliot Zimet for MAGICALLY HYSTERICAL at The Paramount

Award-winning comedian Judy Gold Master and illusionist Elliot Zimet and will be delivering a never-before-seen type of performance on Saturday, July 8 at 8 p.m. at the Paramount Hudson Valley Theater in Peekskill, NY.

Zimet's refreshing approach to magic and illusions will be combined with Gold's tenured and relatable comedy for a magically hysterical night at the Paramount Theater.

Judy Gold, a two-time Emmy winner, has a lengthy career in comedy, producing, writing, and acting. The Newark native wrote and starred in two critically acclaimed Off-Broadway productions: The Judy Show-My Life as a Sitcom and 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother, in addition to starring in Clinton, The Musical. Judy received rave reviews as Gremio in the all female The Taming Of The Shrew for NYC's 2016 season of The Public Theater's Shakespeare in the Park. She has co-starred in the Off-Broadway productions of Clinton! The Musical, Disaster! The Musical, Love Loss & What I Wore, and The Vagina Monologues. She's also been featured on hit comedy shows I'm Dying Up Her, Louie, Broad City, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Inside Amy Schumer, 30 Rock, 2 Broke Girls, and Difficult People. Her very relatable form of comedy has audiences dying from laughter and asking for more.

Zimet's smooth delivery and innovative blend of pop culture makes him one of the most notable modern magicians/illusionists. Zimet, a Bronx native, fell in love with magic and illusions when he was nine and has gone on to be featured on nationally recognized programs such as America's Got Talent, The Early Show on CBS, and Big Morning Buzz Live on VH1. He's also garnered fame from A-List celebrities such as Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, and C.C. Sabathia.

The Paramount Theater has been a staple of the Hudson Valley area for over 86 years. In 2004, the theater was added to the New York State and National Registers of Historic Places. Red House Entertainment, headed by Kurt Heitmann, acquired the theater in May 2013.
