Beth Stafford Laird to Star in Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID at WPPAC Next Month
The New York regional premiere of THE LITTLE MERMAID, with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater and book by Doug Wright, will be directed by Jeremy Quinn with music direction by Stephen Ferri and choreography by Lexie Fennell Frare at WPPAC, December 19, 2014 - January 4, 2015.
The musical stars Beth Stafford Laird (Ariel), John Treacy Egan (Ursula), Joseph C. Based on the popular Disney animated film, THE LITTLE MERMAID tells the story of a beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, who longs to leave her home in a magical kingdom beneath the sea to live in the world above. THE LITTLE MERMAID will capture your heart with its timeless tale and irresistible score by eight-time Academy Award winner, Alan Menken, that includes the hit songs 'Under the Sea,' 'Kiss the Girl? and 'Part of Your World'.
