BEAUTIFUL's Jarrod Spector Coming to the Emelin Theatre, 4/17

By: Apr. 08, 2015

Looking for some coverage on upcoming show: Jarrod Spector: A Little Help From My Friends, at Emelin Theatre in Mamaroneck, NY, Friday, April 17 at 8PM. Tickets: $52.

In this show, which is coming to Westchester from an acclaimed run at 54 Below, Jarrod Spector surveys the greatest songs from the greatest male vocalists of the past century. From Freddie Mercury to Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson to Paul McCartney, and Billy Joel all the way back to the great Enrico Caruso himself, it's a moving, beautiful stroll through the most recognizable and justly acclaimed songs on earth.

Currently starring in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical as the real-life songwriter Barry Mann, Jarrod's achievements as one of the finest voices of his generation were honored with a Tony nod in 2014. A Philadelphia native, he made his Broadway debut as Gavroche in Les Miserables before taking an academic detour to Princeton. He then returned to show business, launching the Chicago production of Jersey Boys as Four Seasons front-man Frankie Valli. Starting in 2008, he performed the role on Broadway, impressing audiences with his renditions of hits like "Walk Like A Man" and "December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)."
