Next to Normal, with book and lyrics by Brian Yorkey and music by Tom Kitt, concludes Trinity Repertory Company's 2025-26 season at the Dowling Theater. The Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning rock musical follows Diana, a suburban mother living with bipolar disorder, as her family struggles to maintain stability while confronting the realities of mental illness. Resident Company Member Rachael Warren plays Diana, alongside Nathaniel Stampley as her husband Dan, Erin Saidah Lockett as her daughter Natalie, and Nigel Richards as her son Gabe. The production is directed and music directed by Amanda Dehnert, former Associate Artistic Director of Trinity Rep.
