Audition Notice for Striving Artists Theatre Company's Production of Lee Blessing's Eleemosynary, directed by Mary Beth Luzitano

Summary: What would a woman sacrifice to follow her dreams and career path? Three generations of women, grandmother, daughter, and granddaughter struggle to find the happy balance between their own genius and a healthy relationship with each other in this contemporary piece.

Cast:

Dorothea: 50-65 year old (mother to Artie)

Artie: 30-45 year old (mother of Echo)

Echo: 15-25 year old

Audition Date/Time: Wednesday, May 27th at 7:00-10:00pm

Audition Location: Megley Theatre located at Salve Regina University in the Antone Academic Center.

100 Ochre Point Avenue, Newport, RI is the address of the school, however, the Antone Academic Center is on the corner of Leroy and Lawrence Ave in Newport, RI on Salve's campus. (Red brick carriage house)

Please bring headshots, resumes, and dates of conflict. The audition will consist of a minor warm up session and cold readings from the script. No appointments are necessary. No prepared monologue is necessary.

Rehearsals will begin on May 31st and Show Dates will be July 9-11th at Gallery X in New Bedford, MA. If you are unable to attend the audition and would still like to be considered for a role, please contact:
