Mixed Magic Theatre's production of God Of Carnage, by Yasmina Reza and directed by Rich Morra, has been extended to include performances Thursday May 22nd, Friday May 23rd and Saturday May 24th. All shows are at 7:30pm.

Tickets are $25 general admission, $20 for seniors, and $15 for students and military members with ID.

God of Carnage is the story of two married couples who meet for the first time shortly after the couples children get into a confrontation. They come together to settle the situation but any attempt at having a civilized discussion about whose child is responsible for the fight, and how the parents may have influenced such destructive behavior, quickly devolves into finger-pointing, name-calling, stomping around and throwing things.

God of Carnage was written by French playwright, actress, novelist and screenwriter Yasmina Reza. The play was first performed in Zurich in 2007 and received the Viennese Nestroy - Theatre prize. It went on to open in London in 2008 in a translation by Christopher Hampton. The London production won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Comedy . The play premiered on Broadway with an opening night cast of James Gandolfini, Jeff Daniels, Marcia Gay Harden and Hope Davis. God of Carnage won Best Play at the 2009 Tony Awards.

The cast of God of Carnage features Amos Hamrick Jr. as Alan Raleigh, Hannah Lum as Annette Raleigh, Tom Chace as Michael Novak, and Christina Wolfskehl as Veronica Novak.
