HEDDA GABLER at Brown University

Theatre Arts & Performance Studies and Sock & Buskin present Henrik Ibsen's Hedda Gabler in a new version by Brian Friel.

Hedda Gabler returns, dissatisfied, from a long honeymoon. Bored by her aspiring-academic husband, she foresees a life of tedious convention. And so, aided and abetted by her predatory confidante, Judge Brack, she begins to manipulate the fates of those around her to devastating effect.

Henrik Ibsen's Hedda Gabler in a new version by Brian Friel, directed by Spencer Golub runs February 28 through March 10 at Stuart Theatre on the main campus at Brown University (75 Waterman Street, Providence, RI 02912.)

Performances take place Thursday through Saturday at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm.

Tickets are $15 (adults) / $12 (65+) / $7 (students).
