Experimental Work HOUSE WARMING Coming Up at The Wilbury Group

From The Wilbury Group's New Works program Studio W is HOUSE WARMING by Jesse Hawley and James Stanley.

Staged as a housewarming party - with the audience as our guests - House Warming uses small talk, show and tell, parlor tricks and song to explore themes of identity, isolation, and the psychic entropy that takes hold when we close our doors to the outside world. Employing the domestic parlor theatrics of Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? we invite you to an intimate evening of song, conversation and deconstructed realities.

House Warming is a new experiment in theater and music created by Jesse Hawley and James Stanley, multi-disciplinary artists and longtime collaborators in the groundbreaking theater collective the National Theater of the United States of America (NTUSA). Hawley and Stanley's work with the NTUSA has been hailed as "breathtaking," and "a triumph of stagecraft and style."

House Warming was originally presented by The Wilbury Group's New Works program in a workshop production in December of 2016.
