DEFENDING THE CAVEMAN Comes To Veterans Memorial Auditorium 12/5

By:

DEFENDING THE CAVEMAN comes to Veterans Memorial Auditorium on Saturday, December 5 at 5:00pm and 8:30pm.

DEFENDING THE CAVEMAN is a hilarious play about the ways men and women relate to each other. Without taking sides, this insightful comedy discusses the ongoing battle for understanding between the sexes. Through its hysterical observations into contemporary feminism, masculine sensitivity and the erogenous zones, DEFENDING THE CAVEMAN mines The Common themes in relationships that go straight throught the funny bone. This production is recommended for adult audiences. The comedy has been translated into 16 different languages and has been performed in over 30 countries.

J.L. "Lynn" Singleton, PFM President, said, "I am very happy that PPAC and the VMA are PFM members. PPAC is looking forward to having a stronger relationship with the VMA for the approaching performance season and in the coming years. Both theatres are important and historic cultural centers in Rhode Island, and with the help of PFM, we hope to make major strides in the coming season."

Stephen Habl, General Manager of the VMA, said, "We are very proud to offer new and exciting programming for this beautiful and historic theatre. As the VMA is now part of the PFM family of nationwide performing arts venues such as PPAC, we hope everyone takes this opportunity to join us for many of our 2009/2010 season performances at the incomparable Veterans Memorial Auditorium."
